Ofgem accepts IPA Energy + Water Economics Recommendations

In December 2008 Ofgem asked IPA Energy + Water Economics to review requests for additional network reinforcement expenditure made by Gas Distribution Network Operators. In particular IPA Energy + Water Economics was asked to review a series of requests made by Scotland Gas Networks. Ofgem has accepted IPA Energy + Water Economics’ main recommendations and published them in an Open Letter addressed to stakeholders, dated 9 June 2009.

Scope for demonstrating CCS in the East of England

IPA Energy + Water Economics, in consortium with Senergy Alternative Energy and Atkins Boreas, has just completed a study for the East of England Regional Development Agency (EEDA) looking at the scope for a regional demonstration of Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS).
